Pumpkin Waffles

Ingredients:
• 2 large eggs
• 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
• 1 cup half and half
• 4 Tbsp. butter, melted, cooled
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
• 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
• 1/2 Granny Smith apple, pared, cored, cut into small dice
• 1/3 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Directions:
Whisk eggs and brown sugar together in mixing bowl. Add half-and-half and butter and whisk until blended.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pie spice in another bowl. Add to egg mixture and stir just until blended. Stir in pumpkin, then fold in apple and walnuts.
Heat waffle iron as directed and make waffles, using generous 3/4 cup batter for large iron.

I am Pregnant With my Third Baby!
Hey Everyone,I am back with some good news! For once! I am pregnant with my third baby and I am so excited! The last journey to becoming a mother again is truly a blessing. After this little one, I am done!
I set up an appointment with my doctor to get birth control, and sure enough I was pregnant. I had a feeling I was but I wanted to set up birth control just incase I wasn't.
When I started getting tender breast, feeling sick to my stomach and overly tired, I just had the strong feeling that I was pregnant.
I went there and my 2 year old daughter was with me because she needed a well baby check up. They took her and mine vital signs and I peed in a cup. The doctor came in the room saying, "You know you are right?" And I said, "Are what?" And she said, "You're pregnant".
I was so excited! I was so happy! Even though my hubby and I weren't ready for this and we weren't really planning on having another baby, I was still excited to know that a new baby would be growing inside of me.

News Alert! - Bill changes Amber Alert criteria
I found this story from an alert I set up through Google and I wanted to share it with everyone. Hopefully we can try changing the criteria for Amber Alerts to be issued and sooner than later. Check it out!LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An alleged kidnapping in Lubbock sparks change in Austin.
Improvements to the state's Amber Alert system are underway. The house passed a bill Thursday that would expand the scope of the system. Lubbock Representative Carl Isett co-authored the Amber Alert Improvement Bill which expands the circumstances for when an Amber Alert is issued.
House Bill 3385 allows law enforcement to issue Amber Alert for children in danger of becoming victims of sexual assault. It covers situations where a child under 14 is taken willingly but without parental consent by a person who is more than three years older and is not a relative.
